How to Add & Edit Pages In Shopify - Video
Lots of game store owners in our industry today don’t realize how important it is to have a compete website. By complete, we mean having a contact us page, an about us page, pictures, videos, and even blogs for your company all included on your site. The completeness of your website will directly affect your ranking in search results. Here are a few tips on how to add pages in Shopify to your website to make it more complete, and how to edit existing pages in Shopify to make sure you have the most relevant content displayed.
If you don’t have a complete website already, then the first step is to add new pages to your site. Navigate to your Shopify online store, find, and select the pages tab, then in the upper right-hand corner click on the “add page” button. Now that you have it added, you can add whatever content that is needed for that specific page. Use the Rich Text Editor box to add text, pictures, videos, links, or whatever else is necessary for that specific page.
Now if you already have a complete website, with all the necessary pages, but still aren’t seeing the search engine results that you would like, then you need to go in and edit your pages in Shopify. There are two different kinds of editing that game store owners should be doing. The first is edit the actual content that is on the page. This is done by navigating to the pages tab under your online store in Shopify, then select the page you want to edit and add or remove any content that you would like. Make sure to save all changes before exiting to make sure your website is updated with the edits you made.
The second kind of editing to do in Shopify is changing the way that your pages appear in search engine results. You can do this by scrolling a little further down the page you want to edit and select the edit website SEO. This is where you input what content you want to be displayed in all search engine results. It is very important for this section to have all relative information from the page listed so that your search results ranking goes up.
